There is no reason why you cannot achieve good health and fitness at the same time. Any form of bodily training needs torsion and resistance, and this creates a risk of injury if the exercises are not devised and formulated with care.

Top professional athletes have access to professional trainers who can do this for them, but you can approximate this if you are not in that fortunate position. There are many gyms which have full time instructors who can help you create the right program for your needs, or you can even find trainers online.

It is essential that the physical exercise you do stimulates and works the muscles properly, or you are just wasting your time.

The easiest way to gain access to this equipment is to join a gym, but this is expensive and will tie you in to a contract. Buying the equipment will be cheaper, and you can always sell it on if you think you have finished your strength training.
